Goalkeepers: Scott Carson (Bursaspor), Joe Hart (Manchester City), Robert Green (West Ham United).
Defenders: Gary Cahill (Chelsea), Ashley Cole (Chelsea), Leighton Baines (Everton), Glen Johnson (Liverpool), Phil Jones (Manchester United), Micah Richards (Manchester City), Chris Smalling (Manchester United), Kyle Walker (Tottenham Hotspur).
Midfielders: Gareth Barry (Manchester City), Tom Cleverley (Manchester United), Stewart Downing (Liverpool), Adam Johnson (Manchester City), Steven Gerrard (Liverpool), James Milner (Manchester City), Scott Parker (Tottenham Hotspur), Ashley Young (Manchester United), Theo Walcott (Arsenal).
Forwards: Darren Bent (Aston Villa), Fraizer Campbell (Sunderland), Daniel Sturridge (Chelsea), Wayne Rooney (Manchester United), Danny Welbeck (Manchester United).
Campbell has some how managed to get picked, even though he's only played 7 games in the past 2 seasons.
Downing has also managed to con his way in.
No Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain which is a big let down, he already looks better than Walcott.
Steven Gerrard is also expected to be made Captain, which is a bit of a disapointment. I would rather it go to someone who will be with the squad for at least 3 more years rather than someone who will, in all probability be left out after Euro 2012, maybe Joe Hart?
This squad has also been largely dominated by the 2 Manchester squads with 11 out of the 25 players coming from the 2.

Not keen on goalkeepers being captains, Gerrard is the obvious choice for the Euro's and let Redknapp pick his own (I do think he will get the job after this season).
Campbell is a surprise, but then so is Cleverley been included over Carrick.

I don't really think not having Carrick is a suprise, not many people outside United rate him(and even some of our fans don't) even though he's had one of his best seasons at United.

No Carrick is a joke. He's been the best English CM this season, easily. I really do feel for him.

Not many people outside, or inside Arsenal rate Walcott, yet he's included.
Also, who (other than United fans) rates Cleverly? He's only played 8 times for us, 1 more than Campbell who you was shocked to see.

Most of us have been screaming for a young, vibrant team... We have it here. With the exception of one or two, this squad looks really good.
Would love to see:
Hart
Richards, Smalling, Cahill, Baines
Parker, Gerrard, Clevs
Sturridge, Rooney, Welbeck

Completely agree.
Why have Barry and Milner being picked over Carrick?

Surely the most alarming is the inclusion of the dreadful Stuart Downing
