Last time we beat spurs in the league we played 4-4-2
Since then we have played 4-3-3
Last time we were winning trophies 4-4-2

The camera's didn't even have time to show his run. You only saw him as he took the shot.

"RVP started with bendtner in 09/10"
Bendtner started on the right!

dont think so because eduardo came on for bendtner in the 37th minute.

Yea then he played on the right! We were playing 4-3-3 or 4-2-3-1 (whatever you want to call it) in 09/10!
By the way, I am totally in favor of going back to 4-4-2, I've been calling for it since the day Cesc left but was just pointing out we have beaten Spurs even when we have played this crappy formation.

Bendtner did play on the right in that game.
Our current problems are not because of our formation. In fact, if we used a 4-4-2 we'd probably be even worse.

Not sure if our central midfielders have the mobility to play the 442. Coquelin and Wilshere could form a fantastic partnership in the future, but I'm not convinced the likes of Song, Arteta, Rosicky or Ramsey are well-rounded enough at the moment.
The fact we haven't won anything since the switch to the 433 doesn't indicate causality; the comparative regression of our side in terms of quality against our rivals is a more influential factor, IMO.
The 433 can work for us, but we have to sort out our defensive structure - in particular, our pressing.
