The plot thickens

"BBC Scotland has seen HMRC documents indicating the £4.1m it FROZE from Rangers accounts last year to cover the 'wee tax bill' has been used for another purpose.

Instead that £4.1m was used to pay VAT due on the £24m Rangers received as an advance on season ticket sales from the London-based finance firm Ticketus."

Excuse my ignorance, but does frozen not mean that the Bank prevents that money being transferred? If not, whats the point.

Is anyone in the financial service, looking at this and the Eurozone crisis, doing their bluddy job??????

How can that be. Whats the sense of having a court freeze assets if the company can still use them.
I took it that once funds had been ringfenced that what ever financial institution they were held in barred any transactions involving them until the court either lifts the order or instructs them to be paid to whoever had applied to have them frozen in the first place.

Perhaps if Rangers appealed the "wee tax case" then the funds were no longer frozen. Otherwise, I do not understand.

Rangers aren't appealing the wee tax case so will have to cough up the £4m+ soon.

What about the wee office he opened in London. I wonder was that used to sell off the Arsenal shares so no one would notice, he's right up to the oxters in it.
