Course we want Europa League. Getting into Europe is a great achievement and after slogging away all season to get into Europe if we did get there and just played the reserves I'd be p'd off

But we are so bad in cups.

I think 2 of Spurs, Arsenal and Chelsea will need to make the final for Newcastle to make Europe as I'm pretty sure even if you lose in the final of the FA Cup you get Europe like Stoke did last year.

I think that was because City got a champions league place, I'm not sure. Someone who wins the F.A cup has to get a Europe spot.

If we win the league cup and you get 6th you're in europe.

If two top four finishing sides make the FA Cup final and you get 6th then you're in Europe.

If you come fifth you get Europe.

If we win the CC and get to the FA Cup final and the final is against a CL qualifying team you get Europe if you come 7th I think.

Anyways it would be good to see you guys in Europe again. You deserve it.

TeeJay's right I think. The top 5 all qualify. 6th qualifies if the League Cup winner is already in Europe. 7th qualifies the FA Cup finalists are already in Europe.

But, what if, say, Tottenham v Chelsea were in the FA Cup final, and Liverpool win the League Cup and finished 6th?

Then they'd be in Europe cos they won the League Cup, but they qualified for Europe through the FA Cup. Would 7th get a place then?

6th, then 7th, then the fairplay thing which was how Fulham got in this year.

You need L'pool to win the CC and two of Chelsea, Tottenham or L'pool in FA cup final
