Our board kept quiet, said Redfearn would have until the Doncaster game, and by then they'd appointed the manager who won this league last season.
They went about it the right way, in a professional manner, and got the right man.
A week later and Wolves have been turned down by a number of managers, the latest being Walter Smith.
They've made their recruitment process very public, and it will now be known that whoever ends up getting the job will be far from first choice.
They've been unprofessional and made a total mess of the situatution.
Still, as I've said when I've spouted off, I wouldn't mind looking foolish if it meant things worked out for Leeds.
How Foolish Does Phil Hay Look Now?

It's not so much the criticising of the delay in replacing Grayson, especially after the Coventry game, but the holding up of Wolves as an example of doing things the right way was ridiculous.

I'm not KB's biggest fan. But the handling and hiring of
NW makes me excited again at our prospects. Like everyone, I want us kicking Liverpool, Man U, Arsenal etc. all over the park week in week out. Didn't think KB wanted that. Now, after hiring NW, makes me think maybe he does?

It was Grayson who made things seem that way.

Grayson and Bates probably used eachother.
Grayson's as stupid as he looks in terms of his ability as a manager, but not in his ability to sell himself.
They've both landed on their feet after his sacking.

Clive,
Do you have a list of people who you hate pinned on your bedroom wall?
