As special as the '93 game was, in my honest and humble I think this sunday has far more importance, we have lost 3 on the bounce and putting our promotion hopes and even play off hopes in danger given the other teams round us having more games in hand. If we win this game then it should inhale more confidence into our players and build a good platform for the rest of the season and, hopefully, go up.

Also, given that we now are in a position financially to have a healthy and prosperous future, going up, from a financial perspective is a must as Mandaric would then lose more money and either cut his losses and flog us, or reduce next seasons budget even more therefore less money for new players. we, as well as Meggy and Mandaric dont want to stay in this division, but the question is, are the players up for this? Well thats up to Meggy to get them fired up, which he no doubt will. If they want to play at a higher level then they need to buck their ideas up a bit and treat EVERY game like its a cup final or a Derby, If I was Megson now, I would be letting the players know or reminding them just how important it is to the fans to not only smash the living daylights out of our rivals, but how important it is for the fans to see SWFC play and progress at a higher level!!

Sorry if Im gonna sound a little like Steve Claridge here but we need to hit the ground running, not give them a chance, fight for every ball with added zest & adrenaline supplied by the 39,000 fans ringing in their ears and get an early goal or two and keep the high tempo for the rest of the game, we have frighten the life out of these oinkers!!!
