I'm not sure why, but I am genuinely excited about the return of Diaby. Apparently, he's been working hard abroad to recover from his current woes and is looking as sharp as ever.
Don't get me wrong, I know in the past he's been majorly disappointing, inconsistent, and just god damn infuriating at times. But I can't hide the fact that with an injury free run of games (much like what we are seeing with RVP atm), Diaby could be an important player for us.
There's no doubt he has the ability, he's easily destroyed teams in the past. I just believe that if he can remain injury free, he could greatly improve our attack with his directness, pace and technique. But I suppose he could just as easily remain infuriating and inconsistent.
Anyway, I just wanted everybody's opinion. I'v seen a lot of articles recently with Diaby being named as one of those players Wenger needs to move on. So, Interested about his return? Or just believe he'll add to some of the dead weight already at the club?
Abou Diaby!

Recently Wenger said that Diaby is on his way back and could be available for the Spurs game at the end of February? So the Spurs game is on Sunday. Where is he? In training pictures I didnt see him either.
If we talk about deadwood and what is wrong at Arsenal I think of him. The guy isnt available the whole season. He is useless and is the first to move on imo.
I am sorry to say that because I think that Diaby is a good talent but enough is enough.

Maybe Diaby will have good season from Sept like RVP

When I think on Diaby I have the following words in mind: injuries, inconsistency, lack of tactical discipline, extremely poor passing, 1 good performance out of 10.
Talent is irrelevant if you cannot show this on the pitch....

that's true. every club has had a player like that at some point - players who have the talent, but either lack inclination or lack fitness. cassano, kluivert, kanu, quaresma, defoe, gourcuff... these are players who have/had varying degrees of talent, but either couldn't be bothered or couldn't shake off injury.

Diaby - the short version :
A very limited talent who is mentally weak.
