Too many fans worried about the performance, forget about it we won and that's all that counts, we put in some great performances en route to today, a final is a final it's about winning not the performance.

Agreed, we could've played a League 2 side today and we'd still of had a difficult match on our hands. Cup finals, regardless of opposition, are never easy.

Kneerash, you are absolutely right, our club have won a cup, and entry to Europe. Our performance was, at times, dire. AC, Jordo and, yes, our skipper were invisible. Cardiff deserve all the credits. We are loyal fans, but we are not blind. Kenny's team haven't arrived yet, and are still some way from getting there. JimmyTheRed

We can't expect Gerrard to be brilliant in every cup final!

He is also still clearly feeling his way back from a long lay off, and if Lucas was available, Gerrard would be looking much better because he would play with more freedom.

Adam and Gerrard is like Gerrard and Lampard all over again, they just don't quite complement each other as a pair.

Downing, though Kuyt & Skrtel for honorable mentions.

Skrtel improvement has been jaw dropping.

Skrtel, Downing, Kuyt.

BTW, we have found a way to make Kuyt look like a sprinter. Make sure the opposition have played 110 minutes of football first, did you see the way he flew past those Cardiff players..Messi like

said the exact same thing to my mates..fastest he has ever run in his life

righteous, "feeling his way back???" we've not always agreed friend but, StevieG, yes, our skipper, was peripheral to the game. Whenever he hit a shot, yes, a long shot, it never delivered. His passing was, dare I say it, inevitably predictable; he missed. Johnson, Pepe, esp in the penalties, outstanding. The quicker Adam forgets the game, for me, the better. Jose. Did he think that all he had to do was turn up and win a medal? Downing can exit Anfield South with his head held high; few other can join him. JimmyTheRed
