Yeah he is expected to be captain so will start, but will probably only play 45 mins, 60 at the most.

There's clearly not something not quite right with our skipper. The club, nor Kenny, will ever tell us; we are not entitled to know, we are mere fans. I for one expected more of my skipper. He didn't produce the goods. jimmyTheRed

Gerrard has been quite mediocre, hate to say it.
We've been building teams around him for the last 12 years, I fear that ethos has now ran its course.
For that matter I feel Shelvey & Hendo are still miles away filling his boots, so if we could bring a quality winger & a striker of top quality (Cavani & Hazard), and with Lucas back, could be a short term solution.
