Misbah: Firstly, I want Misbah-Ul-Haq to do the right thing by retiring from T20 cricket. However, he still is a class player and should remain captain of the ODI and Test team.
I believe this will be the right step to take because of many reasons such as: his not a T20 player as his cost us way too many games and he struggles when we need him to slog, we've got youngsters coming through that play a steady game like Shafiq who looks decent and is younger, it's time for Hafeez to get a chance at the captaincy in the T20 as he will captain us in ODI and Tests in the future as well hopefully, etc. That list can continue, it's not a dig at Misbah or anything, just that the T20 world cup is coming in september i believe and Misbah, simply isn't a T20 player so is wasted & his 37 so should focus on ODI's and Test's, the time that his got left in his career.
Poor Chase:The match today, we should of won as we should of chased England's score. Cheema's last bowl of the innings was poor as it was a full toss which Pietersen hit for a 6 and that 6 was vital in the match because it was the difference in the match. However, Cheema can't be blamed as we still should of got 130, people were saying its a tough pitch and what not but that's no excuse as first 10 overs, we were brilliant and the last 10 overs we crumbled poorly.
Firstly, Mohammed Hafeez who I rate highly and should be a future captain after Misbah, when he got out first ball and we needed him to support Zia, when he was walking out why on earth was he smiling?, I mean he couldn't stop smiling, he looked down so people couldn't see it. I was shocked that he was actually laughing, a senior player shouldn't be like that, I just hope this didn't fix the match or something. I might be over-reacting but it just annoyed me but however, it might of been nothing.
Secondly, Asad Shafiq was playing great but however, why did he need to run for the second run as well as that's how he got out, we were doing fine by getting singles and we were ahead with the run rate, that wicket decided the match for me as well. Also Misbah shouldn't of come out with Shafiq as Umer or Afridi should of come out or even Azam as in T20 you should have one player who plays singles and the other guy a big hitter.
Finally, I know it's how we play that we play it slowly and then assess everything in like literally the final over and that's when we go all out for it. Yes, it can work but every single time, we play the same way when we're chasing and we lose most of the times. It's ridiculous, in the last 5/6 overs we were like 3/4 wickets down so therefore, we should off gone all out and win the game but however, Misbah thought it was best to take the singles and slog in like the last over where he got out!. We can't chase a score for our lives, its a joke.
I could continue with the criticism but however, we got to move on now. We've got Asia Cup next month and I think India on the 19th of March which will be BIG!. Looking forward to that, also should have Dav Whatmore in place as well so hopefully, he has a good impact in the dressing room.
P.S. England played well and deserved it as players like Piertersen, Dernbach, Swann, Patel, etc have been great and we've made stupid mistakes.

Misbah is a good test player and should stay as test Captain.
But he plays too many crucial match-losing innings in the limited overs version of the game. Installing him as test Captain was a great decision, but installing him as ODI and T20 Captain showed a complete disregard for the future of Pakistan cricket.

Yeah, it's good to have Misbah as captain in ODI's as well, if we use him properly, by that I mean bring in someone like Umer Akmal in between Younis Khan and Misbah.
Misbah simply isn't a T20 player as his slow and as you said his played too many crucial mat-losing innings especially in T20. Younis Khan retired because he knew that his not made for it so Misbah should follow him.
Finally, Misbah is helping the future of Pakistan cricket because we've got a lot of youngsters coming through so therefore, we need someone experienced like Misbah to lead them.
Awais Zia is improving as today he was finally playing different shots and looked like a different player and he was unlucky to be out.

As an English fan, I rate Misbah. I think you need a player like him to control and hold the innings together whilst the others take the fun role. You have some talented batsman, but they could do with nurturing ones and twos instead of just looking for the big shots.
Hafeez has flattered to deceive hugely since the first Test, but I feel you have a couple of stars in Akmal and Shafiq.
A great tour played in the right way.

Yorkie: Yes, I agree with you but however, I believe T20 isn't Misbah's type of game so should call it a day like Younis Khan. Misbah will still be quality for us in ODI's and Test's. Shahid Afridi has to be like how Pietersen was today and play for the team and not just trying to hit 6's and get out quick.
" I think you need a player like him to control and hold the innings together whilst the others take the fun role. "
You are correct, we should of done this today with Shafiq holding innings together and someone should of come in to take the fun role but unfortunately, these Pakistani's lack the brains to known such a thing.
Yeah, it was great watching England vs Pakistan, lets home more games to come in the future. It's a shame that the Test and ODI series weren't as close as the T20 series.

Credit to England for thumping Pakistan in shorter formats.
As far as Pakistan is concerned, they have to shut the doors of nepotism in order to achieve success for a sustained period.Couple of hard decisions need to be made like farwell to Farhat and Malik in all formats and Misbah in 20-20.
Note: Misbah has done an outstanding job ever since he took the reins of captaincy but in 20-20 inspite of his mentorious services, its time to serve him a guard of honour.

Agreed.
It has been a tour played in the right spirit where even the fans on these boards have got on well.
Unlike some of the others!

You could start by batting Afridi at 9 or 10. And stop picking hit an giggle players like Zia. Misbah should bat higher in the order, nothing wrong with his game.
