He was from Lochee but now lives in Dublin . We travelled the world after working together in a bar in Oslo and realising there is a network of Irish Theme bars/pubs everywhere .
United's best hope is gonna be to try and hit them on the break and hit them fast . Much could ride on VDS' abilty to launch attacks whilst their defence is out of position . Trying to win it from them in midfield could prove fatal imo .
Been to the Camp Nou twice for the 3.3 in 98 and then again for the final , 1 hell of a stadium .
Where you from originally then ?

Pitlochry. Right in the middle of Scotland. You know what is strange? Actually maybe a bit mentally strange? My Dad is from Lochee, and my Mum is from Oslo. Who could of predicted that? It is a great stadium, but can't wait till they make it 120,000, will be crazy. Granted they aren't the most noisy of fans, but that is expected with big clubs. Imagine a Millwall v West Ham Game there though.

Haha that sounds like me! The best atmosphere I have experienced is Celtic Park. I am sure if you ask some fellow United fans that were at the game when Nakamura scored will agree. It is so unbelievably loud and "you'll never walk alone" is 100x better than when liverpool sing it. Can't beat Hampden for passion though.

I remember the old Home Championship matches they were incredible, atmosphere wise, even more so than Old Firm matches and I've been to 5 or 6 of those .
Odd about "You'll never walk alone" the Scots stole it from a scouser and then the scousers stole it back .
What or where was the best or strangest match you've been to/seen . My best was the 77 cup final when we stopped the Great Liverpool team doing the treble (my secret hope against Barca) . Strangest place I saw a match was in a bar in the base of the Empire State Building .

Most memorable has to be Barca against Panathanaikos. Went 2-0 down on aggregate, then Saviola, Rivaldo and Xavi header (I think). I am not as experienced at life as you so my football memories only stretch back to 1993 or so. James Mcfadden against France will never be beaten in my lifetime though.. Best night of my life. Don't see it ever being beaten.

Nice way of saying I'm old , bless you .
Rivaldo now there was a player . Saw the Brasil team playing beach keepy uppy on the South Beach , Copacabana in 94 before the World Cup . Never seen skill like it . If a country ever showed how football can be played then its Brasil . I know people rave about Spain but those Brasil teams of the 70's , 80's and 90's were , imho , a cut above anything else , with a honourable mention to Holland of the mid 70's (Cruyff is my favourite non United player ever) .

I know I love the Brazilians. Rivaldo and then Ronaldinho have been my favourite players of all time. Then Messi had a bit of cheek and came along and was a bit Argentinian. Sorry to say it, but Ronaldinho's freekick against England is one of my favourite goals of all time. Think time and sense has proved that he meant it. Watched it last night and can't believe anyone even doubted it. What a player!

I prefer football to England so no offence . My favourite Ronaldinho goal was the one against Chelsea in the CL at the Bridge . I liken it to Sugar Ray Leonard mocking Roberto Duran .
I admire the great defence of the great Italian sides but love flair and the un expected more . Maradona against England '86 , Best beating Bekenbauer with one boot in his hand , Cruyff and the "phantom goal" , Beckham freekick against Barca at OT in CL , C.Ronaldo and Rooney goal against Arsenal CL , Bergkamp flick and spin against Newcastle , Giggs against Arsenal FAC (god I screamed for him to pass it to Scholes) , Bergkamp against Argentina WC , Messi against Real CL '11 , Cantona (look at me I'm fantastic celebration) goal against Sunderland , the Cruyff turn , Best chipping 6 defenders and GK from edge of 6yd box against Spurs .
Sorry me and the wife got carried away remembering .

Zidane at Hampden. I was there. What a goal. Rivaldo against Valencia though has to be the most impressive goal for me. I also think Henry against Man Utd a long time ago doesn't get the credit it deserves (sorry). What a goal though. Maxi against Mexico 2006 as well. What a goal! Ronaldinho and Messi have done some pretty special stuff at the bernabeau, which i like, a lot!
