Sri Lanka 320/4 (50 overs)
India 215/3 (29 overs)
India require another 102 runs with 7 wickets and 20.5 overs remaining BUT to get the bonus point they need to do it in 40 overs!!!!
WOW What an effort by India, Kohli is looking awesome but there have been contributions by all of the players.
Can India do it??? Malinga is getting spanked as i type this!! AHHHHHH
India vs. Sri Lanka (WOW)

From scorecard atleast, it looks one of the best ever chase in ODI History.Poor Lankan bowlers must have got real spanking.

Correct me if I am wrong but from table it seems that all lanka has to do is to avoid a 'big' defeat against Australia in the final preliminary game.Lanka and India have = points but Sri has better NRR or does it come down who has beaten the other side more rather than NRR when sides are equally matched in terms of points.

PR India has 2 wins v SL so SL must win or tie v OZ to reach the final.

Ok so it 's down to which side has beaten the other more instead of NRR when they are = in points.

Yeah, pretty stupid considering it's traditionally done by run rate but I suppose by this method, it allows the more consistent team of the tournament to progress (not that India has been more consistent than SL to be frank).

But if a side cannot defend 320 odd in 37 overs, in my books they do not deserve a place in a final. What a crashing win.Must have been some inspirational talk by captain/ coach before they embarked on to chase 322

I doubt it to be honest, India just had to go for it so they did without much pressure. I think they need to play a bit more freely like today and let the batsmen play in their element.
