OUR CLUB

I have seen and read Pesch's articles after defeat at Cheltenham and Gary Rowett's article in the Derby Telegraph.
The manager looks bewildered and devoid of ideas, gives no hint he knows what to do and even questions whether the players have it in them to learn from Saturday !
Gary Rowett wants the strong characters to stand up and be counted !
Well in reply i don't think we have hardly any and we seem to be like a rudderless ship with no one at the helm on or off the pitch !
Pesch says we are a good team when we perform, the problem there being is that we hardly ever do,we have players in the majority who are inconsistent and not good enough for league 2.
We have no natural leader on the pitch and Pesch is destroying the supporters confidence with negative tactics, last season we had the weather and the posponed matches backlog as an excuse, what is the excuse this season?
Pesch is a nice bloke and likeable character but with regret he doesn't have what it takes to be a football manager !
Either he has to remove himself or Ben has to do what is alien to him by removing him because supporters have lost confidence in him and this will lead to dwindling attendances and less revenue !
Playing 4-5-1 or whatever Pesch wants to call it in the hope of picking up the few points we will need to stay up is totally unacceptable to us fans.
I've looked over earlier season articles by fans on here all calling out for a couple of quality additions in the January transfer window but all we got was a couple of young lads on loan, one of which has played only once.Plus we allowed Amankwaah and young Tom Parkes to slip away !
Patrick Ada i think will turn out to be a useful signing if we can keep him but other than that we are sending out the message that we are trying to survive on a very limited budget.
Yes we are grateful we have league football and not BSP but we need to be more adventerous or that is where we will eventually end up with the current strategies.
The club need to regroup with a forward thinking plan, a new manager who has a little more financial backing who can get the best out of his players and excite the supporters again. I would hazard a guess that most of us have no confidence in the current set up !

Spot on my friend with everything youv'e said.
We have all said it.We all witness it week in week out and its a shame someone from the Albion dosn't take a look at what the paying people actually think.
I about to set off to swindon and dont expect anything other than defeat.
