I know what you're going to say, but I've seen the players we've been linked with recently and I think we can do better.
In goal.com this morning it says we are linked with Javi Martinez, Eden Hazard and Seydou Keita. I genuinely think we should be looking past these players and going for players that would improve the team now rather than for the future.
For the future we've got great promise, Andy Carroll, Jordan Henderson and Martin Kelly being great examples, so we don't really need Hazard and Martinez and Keita is getting on a bit, over the hill so to speak. They'd be better going to a team without the trophy winning prestige of Liverpool, such as Arsenal or Tottenham.
It's clear that us winning a trophy this season will have turned Wesley Sneijder's head, and considering United, Chelsea and Arsenal will all end the season potless, I think he'd be far more tempted to join us.
I think that's why the number 10 shirt is currently vacant.
Thoughts?
Sneijder for Liverpool

We put City out of the cup we eventually won, so now that we're winning trophies again and the most successful club in the country this season, we should be looking at a few of their players. There are only a couple that would improve us, possibly Yaya and Aguero. And yes Fabregas would be a good addition, he'll want to come to us to win trophies.

I'm loving this Best Club in England this season tag.
Has a ring to it

I reckon a cheeky bid for Pogba at United would be an option. He'll surely want to move to a club who are winning trophies and looks a very good prospect indeed. He wants to leave them, not sure of why but not winning trophies could certainly be a reason.
