England's youth look pretty good.

Let's all just hope and pray that this lot are managed properly and not built up and broken down by the media. It is worth remembering that not everyone in the media in England, is English or a football fan. They do not care if England win, lose or draw. They only care that we who do care keep buying their papers.

By building up the team before a big tournament, we are excited, happy, and we buy. Then when the swollen egos who believe their own hype are faced with the crushing pressure of a major international tournament, and satisfying a nation of people who then expect world class football and victory, they fail.

Then when we are furious and depressed (purely because we as fans were stupid enough to buy in to the rubbish the papers print) they only have to offer judgement on their former idols performance and we can't help but buy into it all again. The players who had no chance of succeeding get hammered by us again.

Until they go back to the comforts of club football and become heroes for their clubs supporters again. They play in systems that suit them, and many of them are world class.

The circle is never ending and the only way out is for us as fans to finally say "F-you Rupert! I don't care how England do, I just want to support my country every other summer and for them do play the kind of football that makes me proud to be an England fan." England fans are famous for being passionate. I say that I'm not going to let Murdoch's media spoil the love I have for the England football team.

They might be the ones who administer the virus, but we the fans are the ones who get poisoned, and only we can cure ourselves. Rise above it, support England and cheer for the young players, and Rupert Murdoch's rags can all be deeply placed up themselves!

Come on England!
