I was born in 79, Sean Hessey who plays for Accrington now was in my class

Marc Brannon was in my year aswell he played for Liverpool until he broke his leg running for the school at Bebbington in the hurdles

the golly pit is exactly what it says on the tin. A small flight of steps with a door at the bottom. The lads would spit on anyone daring to venture down there - usually because of a kicked football.

It's where the playground meets the building. There was a door that was never open at the bottom.
