He can finish in the top 4 irrespective of the outcome of the Birmingham and Napoli games, he could get better next season. But if he drops out of top 4 and doesn't get back in after the next match then by all means sack him. This is my position. 5 star if you feel the same way, 4 stars if you don't, 1 star if you want him out asap despite results going his way and 2 stars if you think he has already been sacked and the club is just waiting for his replacement to arrive.

Top 4 isn't asking for too much. Thoughts...

I think we need to let AVB see his contract out. This time we should give the manager at least a second season or even two to build up a squad. I'd like to see some support from the owner on this to squash all the "whose next?" chatter.

True, but only if he can secure a top 4 finish, anything less than that is unacceptable. Imho.

AVB could win every remaining PL match and still not get 4th. Would it be fair to sack him in those circumstances?

Don't understand you, really don't.
You say AVB will do better next season, i agree. But you think he should be sacked anyway if he doesn't make 4th?
You're thinking like a statistician. As well as assuming the top managers across the world will bend over backwards at the prospect of this job.
