Both players of a similar ilk. The prominent difference between the two is that one player is extremely underrated, the other criminally overrated.
Rosicky has been at the end of much criticism from Arsenal fans and non Arsenal fans alike. 'Injury prone', 'lightweight', 'can't score' - all banded about by those who spend too much time reading tabloids and listening to their peers.
Those of us who actually watch Arsenal play, have seen the Rosicky of old and the reinvigorated Rosicky of new, and who don't let their 'in the know' friends blindly force their opinion on them will know full well what a player he is. He is quick, can pick out a pass, and has know introduced goals into his game. He, along with Arteta and Song bossed the Spurs midfield - this 'flavour of the month' midfield, containing the likes of Parker and more important Modric.
Modric, while a classy and tricky customer, has flattered to deceive in my humble opinion. He is similar to Rosicky in that he is quick, has a good pass on him and has long hair. Although for a player who has played the majority of his games for this club for the last 2 seasons - his stats are mediocre at best.
Personally if I had to pick one of the two - it would be Tomas Rosicky every time.

I'm aware its a Modric Rosicky comparison thread....I jokingly made reference to Rosicky's very limited playing ability, and I did compare him to Modric, just not in that particular post.

as long as you have admitted you were wrong and that your negative comments about rosicky were a joke, then i assume we can both agree we got off the wrong and can now put our differences aside.
while the optimist in us says that modric will improve as a player, unfortunately, as an attractive human being, he will remain hideous at best. rosicky on the other hand is rather stunning.

I apologies for the smiley but I don't see how what I wrote was wrong, except for incorrectly using 'fact' instead of 'opinion'. To be fair to Rosicky he pretty much admits he's rubbish on guitar (I clicked on another video and he said as much )
