Its the opening day fixtures reversed on Saturday, with Town heading over the Peninnes to face a Bury team who havn't won a game in seven attempts.

Town have sold over 2,300 tickets, & its pay on the day !

Famous encounters...... Town have a mixed record at Gigg lane, but it is one of my favourite away ends, can anyone remember the 6-0 defeat there in 1989, then Town's 6-0 win the following year, then in 1991 Town were 4-0 down at half time but came back to draw the game 4-4 !

Simon Grayson heads into his 3rd match in charge, looking for his first away win after a disappointing draw with Stevenage on Tuesday, however he is still averaging 2 points per game, if that continues for the remainder of the season with will end up on ....................... 87 points !!
