Which driver in 10 years time will we be calling the "Second coming of Alonso"?
At the moment Alonso is widely regarded by all supporters who started watching F1 pre-2007 as the "Second coming of Senna". So who will take Alonso's mantle when he retires in 10 years time as a 9 x WDC?
Currently we have:
Jenson Button MBE - The "Second coming of Prost"
Sebastian Vettel - The "Second coming of Schumacher"
Lewis Hamilton - The "Second coming of Yuji Ide"

Alonso is the best driver on the grid in every way, despite being in a vastly slower car he beat Hamilton last year and would of won the championship if Ferrari had not cocked up his strategy. Hamilton also could not beat Alonso even when he had the whole of Mclaren working with him to beat Fernando. As for Vettel, Vettel is driving a car about a second quicker than all the other cars and is scraping it, if Alonso was in that car he would of done the grand chelem at every race so far.

Adolf Hipster - The Ferrari was actually about matched if not faster than the McLarens in the latter stages of last year, have you taken into account the driver's circuits? have you taken into account car potentials? have you taken into account anything?

Senna is incomparable but Alonso is the more like him than any other driver on the grid.
