He is publicly a very positive person, brushing off any negatives and making everything sound rosy. Walter Smith on the other hand used to warn about Rangers financial situation, and used to be cautious about his sides chances on the pitch.
Is Ally the right man to lead you through this crisis? Will his endlessly optimisic comments appease the fans, helping them sleep easy at night until all this blows over? Is he right in saying Rangers will come through this stronger and they can still win the title?
