I have to agree, chuck your PC over the edge of a very high building and invest in a Mac.

I have Macs and PCs. Macs give me less problems. But... when they DO play up... there's not really as much you can do. All in all... Macs are better. Unless you want to play games.

The bang for your buck is always a bit less when buying a Mac.

Admin2 is a heavy user of Ubuntu but I do most of my dev work on windows 7.

Macs look better.

Macs, PCs, when they play up nobody knows how to fix em really. When they do its Steve Jobs/Bill Gates way of saying..."time to buy a new one"

Buy a Mac, you'll never want windows again, unless you enjoy your hang ups and blue screens. When I had windows, years ago now, I paid over a hundred pounds for the disk to find I could only install it on one computer, my mac discs don't have serial numbers and I can install them on various computers, never had a hiccup for 5 years now, touch wood.

Love macs but prefer Windows. I run OS X and W7 on my pc with dual boot.
