How Much For Clyne ?

How much would I like us to get? £5m.

How much do I think we will get? £2.5m with a few add ons.

Do we over hype our youth products or is it us who sell on the cheap? I dont know but you would have to look at the best we have produced from the academy over the past years.

When you look at that list who do you think is at present worth the most? Moses has the most promise. Watson and Routledge have had some small success in the prem. Moses isnt worth more than £5m to Wigan I doubt.

Clyne may well go on and play for England in which case you would hope we would make a fair amount on him but until then he is just a prospect to bigger clubs.

Yes but when you look at his record he has already proven he is good enough in the Championship which is no easy league. Zaha played an entire season scoring just one goal. Connor scored something like 13 I believe. Its a lot of money but he is young, talented English and proven at Championship level and above he scores goals hence 8m.

Clyne will always be a right back.

Prices always baffle me tho. Look at Nolan moving to West Ham for 3m! I mean he scored double figures for Newcastle in the prem and seemed one of their start performers. Birmingham are asking 6-8m for Gardner...good player but is he twice as good as Nolan?

I was led to believe that VicMo was the 'bees knees' (i'd not seen much of him at the time due to living in Spain) but when i did see him i felt 'slightly' let down barring some great perfomances later on for us. He's a good player as is Clyne. England regulars etc etc...............I'd love it but very much doubt it.
