Really hope Robbo doesn't pick McNutter when he is available.

Do you think Robbo needs to get tougher with the ill disciplne, I don't think it is anything like as bad as under Ince, but as you pointed out there are certain players that either don't have the temprement for the big games or are easily wound up to do something rash

Bill.. the only thing that winds me up with our discipline is the attitude of a couple of players...Lewie and Gleeson just cant keep their gobs shut!. Always whinging about this and that and they let it get to them for about 5mins after an incident when they inevitably get booked.. Robbo had made a comment about Gleeson kurbing his temper as he was on his 9th yellow befor the Bury game...but low and behold he wouldnt let a tackle that had nowt to do with him go and ended up getting booked for opening his mouth. that was a good as a red as he got 2 games for that when we need to keep players of his calibre in the team and not sitting them out.

totally off topic question - but reading the paper this morning, there is a strong likelyhood (sadly) that Portsmouth will go bust and get taken out of the league.

Does this mean only the top 2 go up from our league, as only 2 would come down from the Campionship - am assuming 3 teams will still get promoted?

Dunno!! I reckon they should put 3 from Div 1 up as auto and let another 1 go up in play offs

It seems Robbo either can't control certain players or the punishments are not severe enough to make them understand.

The trouble is that if players moan all the time, the referee switches off and players get to be known as moaners. Better to do it when it matters and not for their own ego and postering. The number of times Lewie has missed the restart of a game because he is still arguing with the ref is scary.

"McNutter" is quality imo. Uses the ball surprisingly well for a big man too.

he's not bad with his head either, pity he cant keep it focused on the ball rather than the opponents
