Hindsight is a wonderful thing

That's just it though IE, it isn't hindsight. It's more a case of everyone connected with Rangers, from the boardroom to the management to the fans all choosing to ignore what was staring them in the face.
In March 2011 there was information in the public domain that raised serious questions about Whyte's wealth and motives. The press largely ignored it and the gers fans dismissed it as 'timmy conspiricies'.

U6994, I bet there are some comments made by you that look stupid with hindsight or just plain stupid but you know what I don't attach any importance to anything you say...so I won't be looking them up.

they set out to do a hatchet job on whyte and thats the best they could come up with?
what was the point in broadcasting that peice of sensationlist tittle tattle, gossip and innuendo.
the whole recources of beeb and not one single tangable peice of evidance to suggest that whyte is anything other than a guy who specialises in rescuing failing businesses and has had a few failures.
interesting that comment was made on how whyte's MO when a business fails is to ensure he is the secure creditor to ensure that others esp HMRC get as little as possible, just the tactic I 'd assumed whyte has gone for to ensure he can save as much of rangers as possible should worst case scenario pan out.
