You couldn't make it up really could you?
The tabloids have again claimed Arsenal could lose Cesc and now Nasri also for a paltry £54m for the lot. Daylight robbery IF it happened.
Arsenal are still HOPING to announce the signing of Gervinho and likely followed by moves for both Samba and Cahill. Means Arsenal are still considering bidding for all 3!
WTF! Sunderland are _ this close to signing Connor Wickham and loads of clubs have managed signings apart from us. Memories of seasons past seem to be flooding back and it all looks like it will be deadline day dramas as usual.
Nina Bracewell Smith wants to sack the full Arsenal board. Not sure would this be a good thing or not? Guess not.
Oh and in other news Denilson seems to be attracting interest from AC Milan. I am assuming Milan are looking for a new ball boy as they would most definitely not be interested in him for his footballing ability!
Even the BBC do not regard him that highly as he just about managed to creep onto the bottom of the gossip column!
Poor Denny
Ps. Bergkamp has gone home to Ajax as AM. I guess with his fear of flying Arsenal manager would never exhibit on his cv. Would really love him at Arsenal.

She is right. I don't think this team will be successful with Wenger anymore. We need new boards new manager as well. New thinking! The old one should hand over the job for the new generation. I want both Bergkamp and Viera join the coaching staff.

Connor Wickham is another bag of potential... we have enough of those.
Denilson will probably do really well in italy, a far slower style of play and lower level of quality (on the whole) in the league.
Lady Nina has always had issues with some of the board members.... hence she is no longer a board member or even a shareholder.
As for making signings, we all know things are going on behind the scenes, the media are just desperate for things to talk about, so just go on and on and on with a scattergun approach whereby if they link us to everyone then when we make signings they can claim to have been right, as the player we sign will be one of the 150 they have linked us to.
£54m for cesc and nasri is just comedic.

To me, connor wickham is a huge gamble.
8 million up front on a guy who has never played at the top level and only has 15 goals in 60 games as the lone striker in the championship? i'd be very disappointed if we were to match that sort of bid.

Didnt we do something similar with Theo? Not sure of exact stats but sure it was the same for around the same fee.

you should let fabregas go and move on quickly - get as much cash as possible and reinvest it in a decent young replacement. having a player who clearly doesn't want to be there and the associated rumours and speculation does the club no good - we had it with ronaldo for about a year and a half and it did affect us; when we sold him, we quickly moved on with the likes of hernandez. no way fabregas will come back to bite you at barca - in fact i seriously doubt he'll even get much of a game.
as for your board, you're in a difficult position - as long as it's divided between the yank and the russian you'll never get too much cash out for transfers, but if one of them wins, prepared for leveraged buyout debt to be loaded onto the club like us and profits disappearing back into their pockets.

and that was a gamble too. Luckily for us it paid off.... it could have very easily gone the other way had theo not developed as we had hoped.
