So then guys n gals who has renewed their season ticket?
Me I have not nor will not until I see some ambition in the club in signing proven quality players. I would sooner pay the extra late bird next season than be taken for a sucker again. This also means that my little ones ticket will also not be renewed, so thats two of us down. We will however go to the odd away game and will jump on the groupon and come with a mate for a tenner tickets if interested. Ps I have been going since 1969 and have never even in our darkest days felt so low and discontented or interested.
Yanks out AMBITION IN.
Who has renewed their season ticket & why.

I haven't for me and the missus. To tell the truth I just couldn't be bothered to take them up on their February offer - it's still likely that I will buy then before the earlybird deadline but I've shelled out a lot of cash recently for stuff I was genuinely looking forward to such as Download.
Last night we had our annual family headbanging get-together and we went to see Rammstein in Nottingham. That cost me £220 (it's always my treat to my kids, just to reinforce their Metal roots, and this year there was one extra - my daughter's partner was attending his first-ever Metal gig) - money I did not regret paying one penny of.
I just might take out membership for Derbyshire this summer too. At least I won't be so emotionally attached and it won't break my heart if they are rubbish every week.

At least Derbyshire seem to be trying to make a fist of it this season.
It might be worth a punt again

Just had DCFC ring me up to ask me whether I was buying season tickets again.

Yep, as I 've already said 13YO and I renewed - also had the extra pain of 13YO moving into the higher age price range which more than doubled her ticket.
Why? Maybe I'm a bit naive, maybe I have other things which are more important - all I know is that I am able to justify buying STs and attending Pride Park in my tiny, naive mind. THATS all that matters I suppose.
I support Derby County, my birthplace (Well, Spondon was where I was born), place of my education, formative years and where I have chosen to settle and raise my children.
I do not support Tom Glick, Nigel Clough or GSE, I support DCFC, I give qualified support or criticism to the aforementioned three entities as and when it is required.
Those entiities could and frequently are a source of irritation, bemusement and bafflement but not to buy a season ticket 'because' of them .......
Naw....don't think so.
Plus 13YO would be very upset if I did not.

Me and my two brothers have renewed, not quite sure why as money is tight for me at the mo.I suppose its for the usual reasons, lads day out, eternal optomism, its in the blood ect. Also i still don't handle defeat very well even after all these years so weekend can be painful.

I have renewed because I'm a Derby fan, that's that. I don't expect a dramatic turnaround, though I'm ever hopeful. It's a part of my life, like feeding and clothing the kids, that isn't about "value for money" but that is a part of what I am.
I don't claim moral superiority, and by any rational yardstick it is neither big nor clever, nor is it a sensible use of disposable income, but there it is.

For me it's a matter of priorities. Been a season ticket holder for years and will always go but I'm afraid I've just lost the enthusiasm to carry on.
Before I get the 'derby till I die' brigade shouting at me, it's all down to priorities. I got 3 young kids to support now and when I'm watching crap week in week out its a head pill to swallow with a price increase this season.
I'm going to pick my games for the first time in 20 years. I'm not alone though , it seems like a lot are staying away at the minute.
Tough times tough choices !

I haven't yet - who really needs a soon to be discontinued shirt?
But - reluctantly - I reckon I will before the April deadline.
This has everything to do with the 2012/13 season being the last before MelbourneRamv2 goes away to uni (exam results permitting), and nothing at all to do with the quality of entertainment on offer, which, with the exception of the handful of games that Kuqi played in have been unremittingly dreary for the last 5 years.
Mr Glick - essentially I'm paying you £600+ quid for the environment to do a bit of father/son bonding. This is your last chance to give me a different reason to attend Pride Park. Otherwise I'll be off. Once I've stopped I honestly can't see me starting again.

It'll be my last year paying full price, but I can't afford it at the moment. Just waiting for my bonus from work (no, I'm not a banker, but a few on here reckon that I rhyme with it)
