TOO BIG TO FAIL?

Is it the case that rangers supporters have been lulled into believing that the club is just too big to fail. On phone ins we have had claims that someone will come in to save the club, even the Scottish Parliament.

Just like RBS and Barings Bank some people including those on the media have thought that the club could not go under. Now, it is becoming clear that they are teetering on the brink and only a gentl breeze will put them over.

On a phone in tonight we had a steam of fans wishing for collections ranging from Direct Debits to Collection Boxes for a Trust run by Walter Smith. It actually became very very sad, BUT why was more not done a year ago??? I suspect it was because of the belief that the club was just too big to go under - Titanic Syndrome.

Ours is a winter game, better weather doesn't make better footballers.

It might help us qualify for a Euro group stage, Camus.

To be fair I reckon Ath has a point. With no English or Spanish footie on in the summer we could probably get a decent tv deal and we might do better in Europe. Plus attendances would go up aswell. I really hope we have more Friday night football aswell.

It's a 10 month season folks, kinda hard to escape the harsher months.

March-December? I know it would have implications with internationals, tournaments but def think summer football should be looked at.

My kids age group are about to enter their fourth season of 'summer' football. So, I believe within 10 years summer footie or 3 month winter shutdowns would mot be a big ask.
However, currently most 3G surfaces are operated by schools. Guess what happens to schools in the summer? How very SFA of us. Whankaz.
