Shelvey must play instead of Henderson

I hope Kenny considers playing Coates today along with Kelly and Carroll, we could cause them all sorts of problems from set pieces.

Kenny is doing my head in playing henderson on the right, everyone but him can see it doesn't work.
Downing, bellers, kuyt, and maxi are all better options and pose more of a goal threat.
Shelvey has done anything in a liverpool shirt to get me excited, i don't see what the fuss is about, fact is if he was ready now he wouldn't be going out on loan. on top of that he gives the ball away alot and tries to hit hollywood balls all the time

I think the loan rumour was dismissed and he's still with us.

Coates as the defensive Mid covering the back four would work.

As daft as that sounds, considering he was brought in a top quality future centre back, Coates could do alright at DM until Lucas returns. Just don't play Spearing or Adam there, Spearing just ain't good enough I'm afraid despite his effort, while Adam is much better further forward.

All very worthy comments, made by true Reds. I cant fault any of them to be honest. I do like the idea of Coates in DM. Kenny will have to come up with something clever if he is to out-fox the Frenchman. Hendo is having a torrid time of late, not helped I know, even if he doesn't know of our views. Shelvey? just hope we get enough players in the box when we are attacking, that seems to be our biggest problem, no one there when it matters.

I think Bellamy needs to start to have the pace threat on the counter. Otherwise they would pour forward in numbers.

And WeeJay to hound any and everyone in the centre with the ball. It's probably his only real talent but he's excellent at it.
