O.K boy's & girls it's question time, which club is Shannon McPherson joining in 2012.
All that has been reported here is that South Sydney were approached by McPherson for a release of his further one year contract in order to join a S/L which approached him with an offer to good to refuse and South's not wanting to stand in the way of any player moving forward didn't object but made a point of saying how sad it is to lose a local product just when he is coming into his prime and playing good rugby league.

Theo, by no means did I make that comment as you are suggesting....I can see what you mean though.
I believe this contact with McPherson was made pretty early on in the year.
McPherson is an older style prop, who runs the ball up the middle hard and often without the flashy foot-steps and slip out the back passes.
I'm disappointed in seeing him leave because at 25 props are just starting to peek and S.McP has shown last year & this year he is a very capable forward.
