Are we still in the race for 4th?

There's nothing to suggest that we're going to learn how to finish soon.

But there's also nothing to suggest that any of the other teams vying for fourth are going to start winning either.

Arsenal are the clear leaders in this race, and obvious favourites.

But one injury or dip in form for Van Persie... and they'll start to disintegrate.

It's Arsenal ! They're going to drop points... that's assured.

Then we have Chelsea...

Well what can I say? Is Di Matteo their saviour?

I can't see this going well... and Liverpool are still to play them

Arguably however the team with the most form and most consistency is Newcastle... outside bet?

But I can't see a miracle happening... they'll start dropping more points. Ba's not scoring as consistently as he was before.

And finally we have Liverpool. We played so well yesterday.. but due to the nature of the game - we lost.

We're supposed to be OFFICIALLY out of the race.

But why?

We're 7 points behind Chelsea with a game in hand - And we still have to play them

We're 4 points behind Newcastle with a game in hand - And we still have to play them

Albeit we're 10 points behind Arsenal with a game in hand. Arsenal have to start losing if we're to have any chance.

More importantly we've got to start converting chances...

And fact is there's only two players in the team who are proven goalscorers in the league. They are Carroll and Kuyt. Is there any reason for Carroll to start scoring? Well Gerrard and Suarez are injury free.. Gerrard needs to regain some form though.

And Kuyt.. Mr Consistency ( My fave player ) needs to play.

So .. I believe we're still in this race. We just need something to go right for us.

Also.. just one more thing..

Tottenham have begun their annual destruction of their season.

Is third place up for grabs too?
