Disaster

This has been a complete disaster for Chelsea
First we didn't rebuild the squad properly in the summer and january transfer windows, so now when financial fair play rules kick in we will no longer have that advantage of spending crazy money.
Secondly we sacked one of the most talented young managers in the world, within about 6 months of managing. AVB wasn't perfect but he had to make big decisions which any manager would have struggled with. For example rebuilding the ageing squad. He also was great with Luiz, Torres and Sturridge, he was patient with them, and backed them through out. Some may disagree with his team selection, but I was glad that he didn't play the likes of Lampard and Drogba through out the season, rather he rotated Lampard with Meireles and Drogba with Torres.
Finally, who is there to replace him? Benitez or Capello, two managers who In my opinion would be worse at managing Chelsea. Also both of them aren't suited to the board and players. Capello never really motivated the England team to their best potential, he also struggled when the FA got involved in big decisions. He will have to face both of these managing at Chelsea. Benitez with our sort of money would be catastrophic, this is the guy who sold Alonso so he could sign Barry! Where he eventually failed to sign Barry and sold Alonso despite not having a replacement, and then made a 20million signing of Aquiliani. He also signed Keane ffs!
Jose and Pep are not coming to Chelsea. In what world would they want to leave a sercure comfortable job, where they manage some of the best players of this generation, to come to a team like Chelsea who are in a complete disaster?

AVB you deserved better. Shame on you, Frank and Cole!!
