I think we need to stop with the articles now on most peoples dissaproval of sacking. We should have backed him but he's gone and thats that.
We move on, candidates mentioned so far and one that seems to be a bookies favourite is Benitez.
There is not a snowballs chance in hell of Benitez being next CFC manager.
He is a free agent now and could take job tomorrow, but what do CFC do appoint RDM till end of season, why would they do that if it was Benitez was available, so don't waste you money at the bookies.
The big problem we have now is identifying and getting a top notch manager, there really is not that many around, yes you can get those that will maybe keep you in top 4 with the money we can spend and maybe get you the odd fa cup now and then. But it's the manager that can get you challenging on all fronts and winning the big prizes that is the problem.
In my opinion I feel there are only a very very small handful and that is where CFC will have the problem getting them.
I think Guardiola may be possibility, I really think he will maybe be ready for another challenge, he has basically done it all at Barcelona, so time could be right.
I see a lot of fans saying Mourinho will never come back, well in football never say never. Stranger things happen and this is CFC we are talking about so would never say no way.
Like I said rough on AVB but he's gone, nothing we can do but hope CFC get it right this time.
Oh and just for the wind up merchants, do you honestly believe this is the end of CFC, we are going to be around a long time and mixing it again in all comps. If you believe you have seen the end of us, think again.
AVB Gone , Benitez not a snowballs

No-one has suggested that.
CFC are still a good laugh though

It's a two man job list. Otherwise we've made a mistake we won't live down until AVB retires.

chelsea should bring back avram grant. he got them to a CL final and collected 77% of the league points available during his tenure. his world class abilities as a coach and his natural respect and leadership is what chelsea need in order to be a decent side once more

How convinced are you that Guardiola could do the job? He's Only been at Barca, only knows the Barca way, with players who have been brought up the Barca way.
He also has three of the four best players in the world as the heart beat of his team and the other 8 players (whoever they are) would walk in to most teams in the world.
I think Pep would be a gamble for any other club, how quickly would he adapt, and would he have the same effect on lesser players? No doubt he would get the respect for what he has done as a player and a coach but I'd be far happier if my team got Mourinhio than Guardiola at this stage, I would genuinely feel more confident with Rafa in charge than Pep

I really don't think anyone would want the job.
