Who lead the rebellion?

Every rebellion needs a leader. Who was it?

1 John Terry. 'Mr Chelsea' would be a prime candidate, he's practically ruled the dressing room since Mourinho left. Did he take centre stage once again to get AVB out?

2 Frank Lampard. Has spent years shooting on sight and making late runs into the box. AVB wanted to play a different way. Did this antagonise Lampard enough to make him start a rebellion?

3 Didier Drogba. One to be watched, hugely egoistic and powerful. Already has a reputation of overthrowing leaders after toppling Scolari. It was not exactly done in a peaceful Gandhi-style, but could Drogbas methods have worked on AVB as well?

4 Ashley Cole. A key piece of the jigsaw after the trouble Chelsea went to get him. Not the most loyal person in the world, it would be well within his capabilities to start a rebellion with a 'AVB out' cause.

5 Fernando Torres. A dark horse, his agent publicly criticised AVB, blaming him for Torres' iffy form. Is that a symptom that Torres was infact responsible for the rebellion, and its wrong to blame the usual suspects listed above?

I was going to write this this morning, but my busy schedule prevented me doing so. I feel bad now, because had i written it earlier we could have stopped the rebellion and saved AVB.

But now the inquiry can start. Who overthrew AVB?

We will probably never know, and it does not matter. It is unlikely to be that simple, and all that does matter is the future. Let the past go, it's wasted breath.

My money is on Anelka. The way he was treated once put up for sale was a DISGRACE.

I'm sure Drogba's gang didn't take too kindly to this.
Players concerned are Malouda, Mikel, Kalou and Drogba.

Lampard is a big culprit at present though. MR Arrogance couldn't handle a little bench time.

I'd never do such a thing, I'm going to be a man about it and admit you beat me fair and square.

Losers normally got bought drinks

housemancooke, it is the past. But surely there should be an inquiry, to ensure the next Chelsea manager doesn't suffer the same fate?

Any candidate worthy of being manager of Chelsea should have the wisdom and skills to sort this lot out with or without an inquiry.

Take it easy Chelsea fans, you're going to have a new manager! Oh I forgot!, you've tried that 5 times recently haven't you!

Jody Morris who is in contact with Lampard has pretty much said that Lampard is complaining about AVB to him.

The real problem is your owner! Just because you are a billionaire doesn't mean that youy know anything about running a football club.

One commentator says that you have had 7 different managers in the last 8 years? Not sure of the statistic, but you certainly have had turmoil!
