Dave, offering to play for nothing, no deferrals etc.

It is a good gesture for sure..but what's his alternative?. Go back to England to a low Championship or League 1 team for a few years?. Or play for nothing for a couple of months with the near certainty of a new 2 year contract at Ibrox starting in the summer. He's no daft....criminally insane but no daft.
