Luck would have to take a massive swing both ways, remember we did totally outplay Arsenal, if we start bundling in a few who knows. I still believe, but a lot will have to go our way.

If football was so predictable that I had to believe all these folk telling me its over, I would stop watching, simple.

We watch because of what might be, the unknown.

We have Sunderland up next, surely that must put some fire into Carroll?? Watch him roar us on to 4th.

I don't personally think we'll get it.
But just think, Spurs and Arsenal are due their usual mid-season collapse, Chelsea have just sacked their manager and Newcastle are likely to slip up anyway, even if they have been fantastic this season.
Liverpool tend to do a bit better in the latter half of a season (take last season for example). It could swing our way... especially as we play half of our top 4 rivals in the coming weeks.
Alternatively, we could collapse completely and end up 20pts off 4th. Who knows?

If what i've read on here about no more money to spend is true then it doesn't bode well for the future of your club, defensively sound, decent keeper, creating chances but lord do you need a striker, i know i'll probably get deleted for this but the signing of carrol must be one of the craziest decisions ever taken, it was a huge gamble gone wrong, for that money you want proven quality, 20 plus every season, and that's why you won't make top four, which will ultimately cost you a lot of money.
