PAUL ROBINSON

Taken from the official website:

Leeds United have signed Bolton Wanderers defender Paul Robinson on loan.
The 33-year-old, who is predominantly a left-back, but can play anywhere across the back line, joins on an initial loan deal until April 9.
Paul arrives having made over 500 career appearances since starting out as a trainee with Watford.
He made almost 250 of those appearances for West Brom before joining Premier League Bolton in a £1m deal in January 2010 after impressing on loan.
Paul, who was a regular in the Bolton side up until the turn of the year, has made 76 appearances for the club and has featured 20 times this season.
United boss Neil Warnock was delighted to complete the deal to bring the defender to the club.
"I've been looking to see if I can get one or two leaders in," he said.
"Paul is a player who I have had my eye on for a couple of weeks - since I came in - but for whatever reason we just couldn't quite get it over the line.
"Now we've been able to do that I'm delighted. This is a great club for him and it gives us a chance to have a look at him with a view to next season."
Paul, who is eligible for Tuesday's clash with Hull and has been allocated squad number 33, becomes the new manager's second signing, following the recruitment of former Portsmouth utility man Danny Webber on an initial deal until the end of the season.

Got to totally agree with Yeboah

If grayson had of signed robinson, we'd all be going mental.

Am not impressed with Robinson signing at all.

But TBH I wasnt impressed with Webber signing(lets hope it wasnt a flash in the pan, but the game was set up for him on saturday, but got a decent feeling about him),

don't disagree LIW, but he didn't. NW did. It might even be NW is douybtful about the guy as welll, but sees such an issue in our back 4 he wasnt to take the risk the guy won't be too slow to stabilise things. Its obvious NW does not favour loans, all he is foing is trying to optimise performance in the short term and will have his targets for the summer.

I'll admit, if Robinson was signed by SG, I'd be asking why? But, NW signed him. So I trust him. Didn't trust SG.

As for Brown, he looked inept under SG. Completely
different under NW. Managers are a huge part of the equation. Maybe our squad, old and young, is a bit better than some of us thought? At least with NW in charge
it seems that way at the moment.

No he didn't, he looked shocking and out of shape when he signed, however he turned it around a good few games ago, and he turned it around when he was playing under Grayson.

I don't know, maybe he just expected to walk into the team and be able to boss this league. However it didn't work out like that and he soon figured out he had to put in far more effort.

Once he did that he improved ten fold from what he was like when he signed

So he's not a bad signing after all.

Nope, Grayson took us as far as he could. I said at the start of the season the minimum was 6th, and while we still were in with a shout at that I think realistically it was not going to happen and getting rid of him when we die gives Warnock to the end of the season to figure out what yr wants to do with who, who he wants to keep, who he wants to get shot of and who he wants to bring in

It's a good signing to fresh it up again. Same as webber

And he can look if he wants to keep them for next season. And he's a leader by looks of it.

Could be a season changing signing if we can bag a win tonight. all tho to late now I think. But I love how no ones given up.

All ways said a center back could change this season with a new managerial charge (short term of course) If only it had come sooner.

The mon affect may start tonight if we can win. But hull will be to strong.
