AVB :(

its been a couple of days since he was sacked, yet I still feel devastated by his departure. Mainly because of the circuimstances of him leaving.
It has been shameful of the club, and it just highlights how dysfunctional the club is and how it is run.
Its terrible how the players have behaved, they have shown no respect towards the fans, club and AVB. Lampard especially has been a disgrace towards the club. His sulking and manipulation of the media put huge pressure on AVB. Why on earth does he think he deserves to be played week in week out? He never gave him a reason to play him week in week out, he never showed any sort of good form at all and his sulking would have forced any manager to drop him. Cole might also have be put in the same bracket, however I would like to think Drogba, Essien and Terry were not involved in this rebellion against AVB. Firstly Drogba we have to remember was brilliant against Valencia and City, he helped us a lot in this period. Also his speech at half time during the Birmingham FA cup tie, although denied by both Drogba and AVB, there must be some truth in the rumour. Drogba may have been sulkey in his past however I think his attitude has changed, he may have peformed badly this season at times, however that can be down to his age and him loosing that little bit of quality.
If the rumours and that AVB was actually in tears when he left the club, it just goes to show how much his job here meant to him. This makes me even more angrier at the players. It was them and their underpeforming which lead to our poor results. Although it is AVB isn't quiet as tactical minded as some of our previous managers, or generally as good or prestigous, he was however passionate about our club. He cared far more about Chelsea than some of the likes of Scolari, Grant, Carlo, or even Jose! He wanted to make changes, which frankly desperately needed to be made. Some may too many changes too fast. However many of his changes were great! Sturridge has been terrific, Mata the best number 10 in years, David Luiz one of the most exciting CBs I have ever seen! None of these players would have done quiet as well under the likes of Carlo. Certainly not Sturridge who was never played!

If we don't get Jose, sacking AVB's sacking will only to be worse. Benitez, Capello and Sven are not managers who I would like to see at Chelsea. Capello struggles with indiviuals, his man to man management is poor, he also would struggle with the board getting too involved in decisions, like with the FA. Benitez might be good with Torres, howvever struggles to keep his cool, and would struggle with the pressure of being the manager at this club. He is also poor with money just remember Keane
Sven is just a poor manager, even with his expierence, AVB is a better manager than him.

Yeah, I can't think of any bigger waste of money than that.

AVB is a very good manager and will go no to bigger and better things at another club.

Just a shame that he didn´t get to prove at Chelsea what he is capable of like he did at Porto.

Doesn´t sit well with me at all.

All this gnashing of teeth , scouring of bones and wailing into kerchiefs. Good grief. The man came tried and utterly failed to live up to expectations. Keeping him would have compounded our crisis, even further.
Re the players mutiny ,we were not going to sack 15 of them. Not an option, even if it was a media fantasy.
Chelsea Fc should not be a testing ground for inexperienced would bees.

AVB might one day be a World-Class manager, but we shouldn't have signed him in the first place. It always had to be Hiddink.
