The Winner is Tennis

After watching Tsonga vs Federer I have to say what an advert for the game that was!
I am by no means a regular watcher of Tennis but that match had the lot. Drama, Victory from the Jaws of Defeat but above all the strength of character from Tsonga to keep fighting when all looked lost- even brought to his knees he kept going.
What a game and the other quarters have a lot to live up to after that.

USA boy comes up with a great counter argument. once again the self proclaimed greatest nation in the world cannot produce a tennis grand slam champion, what an embarrassment.

as for the OP's point correct what a great game and it did have everything. i was waiting for the Murray game but it was a bit of anti climax in comparison.
IMO there could well be a semi upset and a final of Murray - Tsonga

All mens and ladies semi-finalists are European. When was the last time no American was there?

I was off sick yesterday so managed to watch the game almost properly. I say almost because I dozed off when Federer was up 2 sets to nothing and when I woke up a while later it was tied going in to the fifth set
