This is another case of Chelsea fans under estimating other clubs signings, those same signings pulling off the magic and me creating "I told you so" articles.

It's a decent deal at 11mil, but there's better out there that we can afford. N it's a deal with the sell of Van Persie in mind, so it's not gunna strengthen Arsenal, rest assured on that.

I no we can afford anyone, but my point is our ability to make quality signings for youngish players entering thier prime for prices like that.

I can guarantee 100% that its got nothing to do with Van P leaving the club. After all these years, Wenger is finally seeing sense and adding depth to his squad. Don't be fooled just by past trends.

I have to say that OP has got a point despite him being an Arsenal fan and me being a Chelsea fan but Van Persie will definitely leave Arsenal at the end of the current season.

I knew Gervinho was a waste on space. Just check my history on my Gullits Dreadlocks account and you won't see him mentioned once. Didn't give a monkeys about Arshavin, we were better than Arsenal then.

Arsenal fans wish they had Mata yes but why should they wish they had Romeu??? He hasn't done anything special yet, lets refrain from overrating our players too much.
