Well were in the Quater Final and thats the main thing, but it has come at a cost.
I think Harrys team selection last night was again poor, which I believe has been the case for the last 3 games.
Last night we played a 4-4-2 but with 3 CB's, now considering we are always prone to injuries with our CB's to me this is not that wise, I was proven right when Dawson got injured. Harry then decided to bring Walker on who could have done with a rest and has been struggling with injuries of late. Why did we recall Adam Smith on loan and not play him last night (is he cup tied)? If not it was a perfect opportunity to give him a go.
Also playing Lennon was a risk IMO. He has struggled with injuries all season. I was pleased to see him bk to his best againt Utd, but was 2 games in 4 days to much for him having just recovered from injury. I believe we need to manage our players inuries more, something which we dont seem to do.
It is concerning now that Lennon is not fit, as having him and Bale firing is when we are at our best. We dont have a direct replacement for either of those players, which needs to be addressed in the next transfer window.
Also it was plain for everyone to see that last night was a game for Livermore and not Kranjcar in the middle.
Anyway thats my moan over with, pleased we are in the next round, it was always going to be a tough game.
Bring on Everton (Defoe has to start)! COYS!
Poor Team Selection

Yeah seen that Livermore has started well for Birmingham, he seems to have indiffrent spells on loan, guess it can be hard to settle having played at a load of diffrent clubs.

We knew you meant Townsend
Reckon Livermore would do a good enough job where ever he was asked to play He is our Park Ji-Sung!

Winning 3-1 does not equal a poor team selection.
Injuries happen in any game.
Harry is not Mother Nature.

Yes but you can trry manage the potential for injuries which we dont do.
Playing 3 CB's in one game when we have injury prone CB's is not a good idea.
Lennon coming back from inury plays two games gets injured.
Its obvoious VDV and Lennon are prime examples, they always suffer from Hamstrings or Calfs, as soon as they declare themseves fit Harry puts them strainght back in the team and before long they re occur.
That said, as I said originally it was a great result.

I have to say Livermore did well against United, and will probably not feature at Everton, so why did Harry have to leave him out against Stevenage. He is much better than Krankjaer. And we knew Stevenage were going to be physical, so why not play Sandro as well.
Harry is good at man management, but sometimes his team selections baffle me.
