league La Liga is just a two team league has been well and truely put to bed this evening. Barca and Real Madrid are out on their own as clearly the best two club sides in the world, but they also have some other pretty tasty sides like Athletico Bilbao, not even in the top four in La Liga, who completely took Britain`s best club Man United to the cleaners this evening, and gave them frankly a football lesson.
The Prem may have the most money, but it is along way behind La Liga in quality.

I had an argument with a bloke from work, I said Spanish football wasn't as good as the PL!
Only because of the scoring records of Messi and Ronaldo, and the fact its a two team league!
But the last few days has made me think twice

Bilbao are a good team, they conceded a 91st minute goal when they were 2-1 up against them at home. The problem is the media would have you believe every team is crap outside of real madrid and barcelona but reality is bilbao are a strong side. All this about being 5th and winning 3-2. Blackburn beat us 3-2 at ot with 3 shots on target. Bilbao deserved the win but saf played a weakened team. If the team that ended the game started then we would most likely have won.

They were given a bit of a Europa League lesson last night. SAF seems to have completely underestimated everyone this season be it the CL of EL.
