What is it with this 'team in transition' rationale for your poor performance last night.?
Please help me understand what this actually means.
Quick question..

It means Fergie again messed up with team selection costing us yet another defeat at home.

Captain has hit the nail on the head here.

looolll... it explains why fergie makes some very demented selections squad wise and why he cannot move on from 37 and 38 yr olds.
once you factor in not blaming fergie or giggs/park/scholes then all your left is "transitioning".

SAF got his team selection wrong again. That's why we exited the champs league as well.
We'll beat them in Spain though, Rooney's penalty conversion will be key

It probably means exactly the same as what your own supporters have been saying since you bought Carroll and co. Obvious really. You quite clearly do not bother to read the comments made in this and other Fora in an attempt to persuade yourselves and anyone else who could care to listen , that this is only the start of a
developing new team i.e. one in transition.

Is transition the new excuse for playing poor? In the Prem we seem to have quite a few teams in transition, just think how good the league will be when they all have transformed.

CP is absolutely spot on...

We're in the same transitional period as Liverpool, the main difference being that we din't waste £35m in a newcastle donkey, £20m on a left winger who sh it, £20m on kid who can't run, dribble,d shoot or cross and another £10 on a CM who scored for fun at Blackpool, but is utte sheite since he left
And I've no idea what you paid for the racist kid up front, of the dumb as feck RB who can't defend, but hey I'm sure it will be over the odds!
