with the news that the sfa have decided that whyte is not fit to own rangers surely stuart regan has to resign his position.
to be head of an organisation that allowed an asset stripper to come in and take my club to the edge of extinction is unforgivable. , its like a council approving an application for gary glitter to open a childrens nursery!
we have had 2 sfa officials forced out for telling a wee fib to the celtic manager, so regan should meet same fate for this situation we find ourselves in.
disclaimer
if regan could not stop sale happening I take it all back
stuart regan

What's more ridiculous is that they would have spent good money investigating this. The conclusion was obvious.

jesus wept. Can you imagine the scenario?
The papers report that a multi-millionnaire with 'wealth off the scale' want o step in and buy Rangers from Murray. He promises to invest £25m in players over 5 years and will clear the bank debt.
Step forward the SFA and say "no you don't, he's not a fit and proper person".
The bears would have been foaming at the mouth with rage.

you have a very good point, there would have been uproar if he had tried to stop the sale, but rules are rules, I think?

Irvine , youre totally correct
he was percieved far differently then than he is now thats for sure
The only way the SFA could have stepped in was IF he had been banned previously as a director
You know for all the foaming and spiting that surrounded the " witch hunt" from the BBC ...you may in the long run have a lot to thank them for

'You protested more about songs and the BBC'
In a nutshell. Exactly.

Tim - whilst some aspects of the infamous BBC "documentary" were correct, as hindsight has proven, the fact that it was styled as an attack on Rangers rather than Whyte, where is should have been SOLELY targeted, is what annoyed many.
As to the protests about songs - knuckle draggers & Cadbury Gorillas - not representative.
