I feel a little sorry for Tevez

He has stated he wanted to leave for 2 years now. Imagine being stuck in a foreign land thousands of miles away from your homeland and family. I think we can all relate. Lets put aside the money factor, many people have to commute to go to work but Tevez has one hell of a commute to see his family in Argentina. The offers city got in the summer seemed fair. Something like 20-30m euros. Not too bad. I really think the guy is suffering. I myself am from Manchester and I can understand why it's not everybodies cup of tea. The city is basically just a giant shopping centre. I don;t know why he accepted the job to begin with. Perhaps his dissapointment at being rendered obsolete at UTD clouded his judgement. Just let the guy go home. It's not like city haven't got enough cash to get over him.

Unlucky? Didn't he want to go to PSG, Milan etc...

Hardly going home or cutting down on commuting time is it?

I can relate, when I was in a foreign land, living in a mansion, driving a Bentley and earning about £200k a week I really missed the slums of Beunos Aires.

The guy's been playing in England since 2006. He's spent more time over here playing professional football than he has in any other country.

And the offers received in the summer were not acceptable, thus quite rightly rejected.

If Corinthians hadn't dicked us about, he'd be home now. Also, PSG offered us £30m and he refused to accept the terms.

Hardly being trapped by us. Maybe if he took a pay cut he'd be okay.

I can't get over some of you City fans. No doubt when Tevez comes back to the first team all will be forgotten, you think he puts your club first? Guys a mercenary, and don't give me that "poor guy in a foreign land" bull! Lots of working stiffs have to emigrate to make a living (and I guarantee its not for 200K a week either). He should stay in the reserves

Which City fans are these? I don't know any City fans that want him at the club and I haven't got a clue who the OP supports.

Boris the OP is an Arsenal supporter who is a tad peed orf that AbFab has done a homesick runner. Mind it was kind of Arsenal to let Barca pay 2p and his moving expenses rather than the millions they could have got.

Guys a mercenary

99% of football players are, very very few play for the club they supported. Rooney, Scholes, Samaras all grew up supporting and in some cases playing for their original teams before moving on for the cash and the fame and Glory. I mean Sam could have been a legend in greece had he stayed and not moved to the Netherlands, then England then Scotland,

FECK OFF!

He was happy to sign the contract and lets not forget had been at United for two years and before that Westham, so it's not like he didn't know what it was like to live in England. And I'm sorry you can't set aside the issue of money; he had enough coming in to move ever sinlge member of his family and his in-laws over here and for them to live in the lap of luxury and still have £15m pocket change, so don't feel sorry for him, he signed the contract and was happy to do so, he's shat all over Westham and then United and now city
