I remember many years ago I used to watch highlights of him in his Crystal Palace days. I also read in the papers that he was being scouted by Real Madrid.
I always thought he could have been great.
Now he's stuck at Wigan... someone please throw him a lifeline....

He hasn't been poor this season from what I've seen, just inconsistent. The talent is definitely there. He's also been unlucky with his goalscoring because he's been hitting the woodwork constantly - on that form he could definitely play for Liverpool.

Needs to work on his end product,he will develop into a top player have no doubt about that.Maybe he does need a move away from Wigan,who will go down this season
