.....to the mighty Saints, everything going great off the park, new stadium,
terrific gates, average around 14,000 . But now the 3rd defeat on the
bounce,& i think leading in all the games in the 2nd half,so is it a lack of
fitness , are the new players who came in not up to scratch.I am living in
Thailand so i don`t get to see any of the super league games,i have to
make do with NRL. Which is great , but i do miss the Saints. There`s no
doubt they must be missing James Graham, who had a terrific start,
for the Bulldogs. So come on you guys, lets see the all conquering Saints,
that we all know & love.By the way todays NRL game is Bulls v Dragons,
should be a cracker.
What has happened....

well now its 4 games on the bounce, this time against a decidedly average Hull FC.
"There was no communication out there whatsoever. We were lost and I am the coach and I did not know what we were doing at different stages. It was not what we planned to do."
In the post-match interview Simmons complained about "communication" between the players - or rather the lack of it. Seems like a pretty lame excuse especially on your home patch with 3 defeats already in the bag to focus the mind.
Is it just a transition thing or Simmons totally out of his depth here? 6 games and for the first time in a very long time the Saints find themselves outside the playoff places. Of course there's still plenty of games to turn it around, and they're still only 4 points behind the Wolves. But they need to sort this "communication" problem out otherwise they're going to be in the wilderness for a few years, just like Wigan & Bradford, to name but two

I don't rate Simmons or Brown they both had handy sides here in OZ and didn't show much at all.
Surely Saints have got a good enough squad to dig themselves out of this mess.

Under Simmons Saints have become very predicable with their on field tactics.
