I'm really sorry to have to give your post the grammar treatment. I know anyone who does this comes across as a twaaht and becomes instantly unpopular on these boards - and I'll just have to take that chance - but it was the irony of your comment about Edgar's stupidity then you proceeded to write this and it doesn't exactly make you out to be a genius either. Unfortunately you may be a smart guy worth who is worth listening to but with communication skills like these lots of folk will just switch off. It was so bad that as I read it, it distracted my attention from the points you were making

(1-capital letter) Every time this guy has been on the blower to fitba (2-hyphen) phone-ins chatting to (3-spelling) journos (4-too many dots) etc. (5 & 6-capital and spelling) I've always thought to myself,(7-spelling) who's this guy to think his (quite frankly stupid a lot of the time) (8-spelling) opinion is so important. (9-capital letter) He got himself the chair in a (10-apostrophe) supporters' club and it gave his rubbish opinions some meaning..........a (11-just wrong!) more sort of important fan than the rest of us.(12-capital ) Sorry but NO. (13-capital) Now (14-apostrophe) he's gonna try to be on the ACTUAL board. (15-capital) Thanks but no thanks.
(16 & 17 -capital and apostrophe) Don't have much time for any sort of supporters' group (18-comma),R.S.T., (19-capitals) Tartan Army, Blue Order etc. (20-capitals again) Sorry but (21-caps) I (22-apostrophe) don't feel the need to go through anyone else to support my club/country.

(23-caps again!) Rant over.

You'll get plenty of support on here, and with my old-fashioned snobbish attitudes to grammar and communication I know will not. My point really is - apart from having a bit of Saturday morning fun at someone else's expense - your valid opinions will be dismissed by many if you can't put them across a bit better. Have a think about it then come back and have a good go at me too- a sad old geezer with nothing better to do on a Saturday morning!
