Gervinho, then chamberpot, then alvarez, Then a replacement for nasri (goetze or mata if papers are to be believed) then when barca finally cough up a replacement for el capitan (probly a holding player e.g. vidal and then play wilshere or ramsey in fabregas role), Finally cahill/samba which we will get on the last day trying to squeeze every last penny out of the deal. And to be honest bar a striker and maybe an LB if clichy leaves i'd be happy we'd certainately have a stronger squad than last year

Pastore - no chance! Its been reported Palermo have received a £45m offer today - not us then!

The Cahill deal looks quite likely - possibly early next week? Gervinho in by the weekend and Oxlade-Chamberlain - expect to see a media circus with both wearing the new kit (and Jenkinson!). Fabregas deal will go through, its now up to £35m but i think Wenger can eek another £3m out of them - or at least a fringe player in as part of the deal. Alvarez may have already put pen to paper - I'd be surprised if we sell Cesc without having someone already 90% done. As soon as the European clubs know we have the cash in the bank they'll be quick to slap an extra £10m on anyone we look at! Can't see anything happening with Mata - although i'm sure Valencia need the cash - aren't they financially strapped?

PS) Why do we ALWAYS go after a winger every transfer window? No matter what we need be it LB, CB, CDM or GK we always seem to sign another winger to add to the collection! Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gervinho - do we really need them with Nasri, Arshavin, Walcott, Lansbury, Miyachi, Botelho and even Gibbs!

We never sign wingers. Nasri, Arshavin are attacking midfielders and walcott is a striker playing on the flanks. Gervinho is probably going to be the first real winger we have signed since... hleb/ljunberg?
