Can things get any worse?

Firstly, we are facing the shocking reality of losing our two best players(one to our own league rivals...surely we aren't stupid enough to sell nasri to united, becos I know united will never do the same)
Secondly, we are no closer to buying any of our targets(lille claims we are yet to make a bid for gervinho)
Thirdly, the main cause of all these headaches (the board) are more interested in picking playground fights with ex-board members rather than addressing these issues.

So I ask, surely it can't get any worse or can it?

Jeez, get a grip.

Ex board member who got kicked out slates current board.... do you really expect the current members to not respond? to just let her mouth off freely?

how do you know we're on closer to any of our targets? are you ivan gazidis in disguise?

Nasri is in negotiations over his new contract this week, the cesc thing has been going on 4 years and frankly i don't much care if he stays or goes anymore.

Frankly these sort of ill-informed articles do nothing but harm. you are basing everything on what a few rags come up with, when they are so desperate for stories due to falling sales that they will make up/twist anything and everything to make the most sensational stories they can.

Look at it this way, you either get 20m for him now or he comes to us next season for nish, erm let me think about this one.....

or

a) we reject united bids but accept others - would he stay another year and then leave on a free if a big spanish team was after him?

b) he signs a new contract

c) he signs an agreement, for a certain fee, to not join united on a free if we allow him to allow his contract to run down.

basically what i'm saying wummidge, is there are any number of permutations that could happen that don't involve him going to united.

However, as he is in negotiations with us over his new contract this week, and has said many times he is happy here and has no desire to leave, my betting is option b.

no need. I am 100% certain he will not be at united next season.

you are aware, i assume, that all this has blown up from an interview, in french, in which he was asked about it.... when he responded, he was laughing. he thought it wqas a joke that anyone could think he would move to united from arsenal.

of course that bit didnt get reported in the british rags.

go look it up, the whole interview is on youtube (in french though by now there may also be a translation)

That's too boring and reasonable, i'd prefer to read the sun's version of events and watch it snowball from thereon in
